1940s 50s Brown button lot on original cards
Perfect replacement buttons for vintage clothing.
The bane of every vintage lovers existence is that lost button. You can almost never find an exact replacement so you usually end up replacing them all. If you try to buy new buttons they usually look out of place. Part of the reason is the slick appearence of the modern plastics used today. Vintage buttons were made from early plastics, rubber compositions or natural materials. Plastics like casein (a milk by product) bakelite and celluloid. These buttons came from a huge lot of dead stock I bought a while back. They date from the 1950s and earlier. A few may be from the 60s but thats as late as they get. I am offering them in lots of similar color. In the picture you will see the measurements. Some buttons have textures and surface design but these details will usually be subtle so they are versitile and will coordinate well with a range of styles and materials.
In this lot there are five cards of large assorted brown buttons. Look to the photograph for measurements.
PLEASE NOTE: The mountings/cards themselves may not be in perfect shape but the buttons are all fine.
