Alligator embossed leather in burnished taupe with suede details. A beautiful high heel shoe from the earlier 1960s (Mad Men era).  Stiletto heels and pointed toe... sexy  but surprisingly comfortable because the heels are only 3 1/2" (looks taller) and the ball area is wide enough so the front of the foot is not squished.

All leather soles, lining and uppers these shoes are beautifully made. The design details are wonderful. The heels and decorative insets are done in fine suede which offsets the luminous burnished leather. Small brass buckles accent the side vamps The condition is wonderful with minimal wear to the soles. The heel tip is still solid. I'll be sending these beauties in their original box.

Note: I wear stilettos in a half size larger than my normal shoe size, they are more comfortable that way.

These 1980s high heels are sexy and fun all in one. They are done in a fuzzy faux leopard skin fabric with stiletto heel and pointed toe. The toe has a metal brass edge, I think that is to protect them but it also looks sharp!
These were not expensive shoes in their day. They were made for all the 9-5 "girls who just wanted to have fun". They were made to look good and they sure do! The name inside reads Rush Hour Express tm. For high heels they are quite comfortable due to the cushioned lining and Flex-Sole.

During the mid 1980s color was important.
From jewel tones to neon brights it was all about color for a while. Designers experimented with all kinds of combinations. Such liberties were sometimes disastrous with clothing and are better forgotten but the shoes that came from this time were often WONDERFUL. The stiletto made a comeback and so did the pointy toe. Sexy and colorful. What fun!
The body of this shoe is a deep amethyst suede. It is detailed at the heel and toe with light caramel leather. Rounded point toe and stiletto heel. Leather lining and sole the makers name is Rodina Ferragamo Schiavone.
