The absolute BEST iconic 1950s Peep-toe shoe!
Where to begin with the description of these wonderful vintage shoes? The leather is unique and beautiful. It has an embossed pattern which looks like lizard skin. The background is black and it has been rubbed with a metallic bronze which enhances the pattern. Very Rich! Above the open toe is a brown velvet bow embellished with wired copper glass beads. The 3 1/2" spike heel is comfortably angled so the weight of the body rests in the center of your heel. THIS means a much more comfortable shoe. All leather uppers and sole, kid and silk lined. The name inside reads Career Girl (Our idea of office wear has changed a bit eh?) The size says 8 1/2 narrow but I put them on and they certainly don't feel narrow to me. They are in wonderful vintage condition with just the slightest signs of wear. No scratches or damage of any kind.

Excellent Condition

These 1960s Mad Men era brocade heels are just so feminine and lovely. Everything about them is pretty. The outside material is a delicate floral brocade with bone colored background and just a hint of gold metallic thread. The colors of the brocade flowers are muted... in the pinky-orange family. Across the open vamp is a decorative detail of pearlescent leather flowers in taupe and bone. The toe is slim but rounded at the tip and the heels are a low spike (2 1/4").

Just a note about low stilettos: They are much more comfortable than their higher cousins but still look sexy :)

The condition is wonderful and they show very little wear. The fabric on both shoes does show some VERY slight shadowing here and there. This is minor and blends in with the pattern of the fabric and to my eye it does not detract. I'm fairly fussy when it comes to vintage shoes and this would not bother me. It was hard to photograph but I did make an attempt,

Bruno Magli shoes have been around since the late 30s but it wasn't until the 80s that the company expanded and opened world wide franchises. Beautifully designed and of the highest quality they became a status symbol and were quite costly.

These 1980s Bruno Magli slingbacks are done in black slipper satin with a rounded almond shaped toe. The heel is a slim slanted wedge and there is a lovely pleated bow detail over the toe box. The lining is done in a metallic gray leather and the sole is all leather as well. They were hardly used and in wonderful condition with one small sign of wear. On both heels there is a minor bit of rub to the satin near the heel tip. Please see photo and click to enlarge.

The size marked on the sole says 9AA but these are no size 9! They are at least a half size smaller if not a full size. To be safe I am putting them in the size 8 category. I wear an 8 (on the wider side) and these fit me but the toe area is tight. They are closer to an 8A with the the following measurements.

Very Good Condition

Vintage shoes in any shade of white are really hard to find in fabulous condition. These lovelies cam from a woman who took beautiful care of her shoes. She wore them carefully and stored them well.

Shoes are by Fiancées, they have stiletto heels with pointed toe in a soft, creamy white suede with gold leather trim. They would be the perfect compliment to any number of colors, cream is a great neutral. They are beautifully made with all leather soles and lining and suede uppers. The heel is a manageable 3 1/2" but the stiletto shape makes them look higher. The toe is pointed but the ball area is roomy so they are really quite comfortable. The condition is excellent with just minor wear to the soles, the suede is clean and soft with just the slightest bit of discoloration down near the heel tip. Heel tips are still solid. Shoes will be sent in original box,

Note: I wear stilettos in a half size larger than my normal shoe size, they are more comfortable that way.
