Palest Pink negligee circa 1940s. This vintage boudoir gown is done in silky rayon, crepe de chine combined with delicate creme lace and soft shirred nylon organza. The waist is high and comes to a peak just under the bust. The bodice is gathered at the waist seam. The bias skirt skims the body as it falls to the floor with a swooping hem. There is a label which reads Radelle. The size is 36  Medium.

Misty Nude nylon negligee from the 1950s by Nan Flowers. Square cut neckline trimmed with scallop-ruched organza and satin bow. The bodice is done in accordion pleated organza and matching French lace. The waist is trimmed in the same manner as the neckline and has a self fabric tie. The column skirt is gathered at top. This vintage gown is VERY sheer, very sexy. I had to photograph it with a slip underneath so you could see it better.
The size  small.

It will fit someone who wears a 34 bra

Vanity Fair, the Cadillac of vintage lingerie!
Pink creme nylon tricot nightie by Vanity Fair-circa 1950s. The cut is flattering with a gathered bodice, fitted midriff and gathered skirt. The deep V neckline is trimmed in sheer organza and it has a frothy accordion pleated ruffle. The hem is also edged with the same accordion pleated trim.

Just a little fact about ruffles and lace at the hem; The fabric used for lingerie is usually very light and can cling or have a mind of its own. Designers use lace and ruffles to help the garments drape and swing better as well as for decorative purposes. Pretty AND useful!

These beautiful vintage nighties are so well made and have such lovely detail they can easily be worn for summer party dresses. Just put a 1/2 slip beneath to remove transparency and add substance.

The size is a 34,  small.

Delicious Emilio Pucci baby doll nightie (or mini slip dress) from the 1960s - possibly the early 70s.  In 1960 Pucci was contracted by Formfit Rogers to design a collection of lingerie and the rest is history. His stunning prints and love of feather weight fabrics lent themselves perfectly to luxury intimate apparel. This iconic baby doll nightie is a true vintage treasure.

Shades of geranium pinks are teamed with deep lilac, gray and white in a lilting psychedelic pattern with the Pucci signature scattered discretely throughout. The fabric is ultra fine nylon tricot.... Pucci was known for light fabrics that felt like nothing more than a soft breath against the skin. The style is a sleeveless baby doll with yoke top, mini length. The yoke and hem are defined by coordinating border fabrics. Although this is a nightie the trend is to wear these lovelies as dresses or tunic tops. If you do intend to wear it as a dress you will probably want  to think of a slip of some kind, to avoid cling. Any slip will do as long as it is short enough. If you don't already own one, there are lot's of vintage slips available online and it is easy enough to hem a longer slip if need be.

The condition is near mint with one tiny strain line, less than 1/4" under the left under arm, right next to the seam. This is a miniscule flaw and does not detract from the beauty or wearability of this garment.

The size is small.... a 32 and it has the following measurements

Old World Enchantment
Pretty 1970s Vanity Fair Peignoir set in silky Antron 3 nylon. The fabric has a black background and is sprinkled with sprigs of "primitive" flowers. The flowers remind me some beautiful Pennsylvania Dutch motifs I have seen.
The outer duster has elbow length sleeves that are gathered and edged in black lace. It has a wrap front and the neckline is edged in black lace as well. There is a self fabric belt. The under gown is cut like a slip with lace insets defining the bust panels and spaghetti straps. The size is quite small, the label reads size 32 and it has the following measurements.

Bust up to 34" measurement

The length from shoulder to hem is 50"  (this is not overly long so it might look too short on a taller person over 5'5")

1980s old stock Vanity Fair vintage negligees.  Silky pleats and lace... the style is cut with a lace bandeau across the bust and thin spaghetti straps over the shoulder. Lustrous accordion pleats cascade to the floor. The fabric is a silky jersey, Dacron/Nylon blend. This blend of fibers has a nice weight and no static cling.

I am fairly certain that they originally had some type of tie or sash for the waist but all were missing. Instead I am including a long satin ribbon with each to take it's place.

Vanity Fair lingerie is one of the most coveted names in vintage intimate apparel. These gowns would have been considered a true indulgence in their day.

Mint Condition

In the tradition of silver screen glamour....from Vanity Fair.

Silky accordion pleats and delicate lace make up this beautiful vintage negligee from the 1980s. I acquired a lot of old stock lingerie with their original Vanity Fair hangtags. Fine lace defines a low decollete and cut away modified racing back. The armscyes are cut in a deep revealing curve that is sexy and flattering. The body of the gown flows over the bosom and to the floor in pleats all around. There are long shoestring ties in front that can be wrapped beneath the bust to tie in back (as shown) for a Grecian look.... or tie them in a pretty bow and let them fall loosely in front (see detail shots). The fabric is a silky jersey, Dacron/Nylon blend. The color is midnight BLACK. (for our next item we have the same neglige in beige, in a smaller size). This blend of fibers has a nice weight and no static cling.

Mint Condition

Vintage Kaftan or long tunic made from 100% cotton from Guatemala. This garment was imported by Cottage Industries in the early 1980s. The fabric ground is woven with a blend of two different color threads black and turquoise which creates a rich teal color. It has a traditional multi color pattern woven into the hem and sleeves although the cut of the garment is not traditional Mayan.

The body is long and narrow with a deep side slit...it has a gathered "peasant" style top with elasticized neck and wide sleeves. A versatile piece it can be worn a number of ways. Add pretty sandals and some wonderful jewelry and this would make a lovely outfit for a casual summer party. Wear it poolside as a swimsuit cover up or on a day off,  lounging at home with a cup of tea and the morning paper.
