Size 5 B
Black suede, peep toe heels circa 1950s.
Style and aching feet don't have to be synonymous.

However... looks were not the only concern that went into their making . As with a lot of vintage footwear comfort was equally important. These beauties have built in arch support, flexible leather sole, a roomy toe box and perfectly placed heel for all day comfort. Try to find all of that in a really cute (affordable) pair of shoes today!

1950s peep toe shoes sz 8 1/2# 2174
The absolute BEST iconic 1950s Peep-toe shoe!
Where to begin with the description of these wonderful vintage shoes? The leather is unique and beautiful. It has an embossed pattern which looks like lizard skin. The background is black and it has been rubbed with a metallic bronze which enhances the pattern. Very Rich! Above the open toe is a brown velvet bow embellished with wired copper glass beads. The 3 1/2" spike heel is comfortably angled so the weight of the body rests in the center of your heel. THIS means a much more comfortable shoe. All leather uppers and sole, kid and silk lined. The name inside reads Career Girl (Our idea of office wear has changed a bit eh?) The size says 8 1/2 narrow but I put them on and they certainly don't feel narrow to me. They are in wonderful vintage condition with just the slightest signs of wear. No scratches or damage of any kind.
Size 8 1/2
Length 10"
Heel Height 3"
Width across ball of foot 3 1/8"

1960s De Liso Debs taupe stilettos 9 1/2B# 5614
Alligator embossed leather in burnished taupe with suede details. A beautiful high heel shoe from the earlier 1960s (Mad Men era). Stiletto heels and pointed toe... sexy but surprisingly comfortable because the heels are only 3 1/2" (looks taller) and the ball area is wide enough so the front of the foot is not squished.
All leather soles, lining and uppers these shoes are beautifully made. The design details are wonderful. The heels and decorative insets are done in fine suede which offsets the luminous burnished leather. Small brass buckles accent the side vamps The condition is wonderful with minimal wear to the soles. The heel tip is still solid. I'll be sending these beauties in their original box.
The size is 9 1/2 B with the following measurements
Heel height 3 1/2"
Inside length from heel to toe 10 3/4"
Across the widest part of the ball (outside sole) 3 1/4"
Note: I wear stilettos in a half size larger than my normal shoe size, they are more comfortable that way.

1960s Mad Men era Metallic Brocade heels 8# 5619
These 1960s Mad Men era brocade heels are just so feminine and lovely. Everything about them is pretty. The outside material is a delicate floral brocade with bone colored background and just a hint of gold metallic thread. The colors of the brocade flowers are muted... in the pinky-orange family. Across the open vamp is a decorative detail of pearlescent leather flowers in taupe and bone. The toe is slim but rounded at the tip and the heels are a low spike (2 1/4").
Just a note about low stilettos: They are much more comfortable than their higher cousins but still look sexy :)
The condition is wonderful and they show very little wear. The fabric on both shoes does show some VERY slight shadowing here and there. This is minor and blends in with the pattern of the fabric and to my eye it does not detract. I'm fairly fussy when it comes to vintage shoes and this would not bother me. It was hard to photograph but I did make an attempt,
The size is an 8B with the following measurements.
Heel to toe (inside) 9 3/4"
Width across ball (sole of shoe) 31/4'
Heel Height 2 1/4"
Very Good condition

1960s needlepiont shoes sz 7N# 2204
Size 7N
As a dealer a lot of beautiful things pass through my hands. I am pretty good at letting them go especially if they will never fit me. These shoes however got the best of me. For a brief crazed moment, I tried to convince myself that I could stand the pain of wearing shoes a size and a half too small. However, common sense got the best of me and it is time to give them a real home now.
French Navy leather with dainty floral, hand needlepointed toe from the 1960s. These shoes have a graceful pointed toe and low narrow heel. They are lined inside with white kid leather and have a leather sole. The name inside the shoe reads Freedom Shoes. They are absolutely lovely and make the foot look quite dainty and feminine. I will try to be happy for their new owner.
Size 7N
Length 9 1/2"
Width across ball of foot 2 7/8"
